Now that sleepy January is here, I'm happy to be able to sit down and share beautiful Jessica's senior session. We took our time on a Sunday afternoon, starting out first at the Historic Old Mill of Guilford. While we were shooting, Jessica told me that her brother's senior photos had been captured there too, so I was excited to share these particular images with her parents.
Next we headed to downtown Greensboro. With no particular plan in mind, we drove around our picturesque downtown, stopping whenever a fun location presented itself. Elm Street has so many nooks and crannies that are perfect for capturing a portrait.
After that we headed to the Arboretum to capture the last of the fall color. We also caught the beginning of golden hour for some beautiful backlit moments. Jessica's such a sweet and easy-going girl - she was up for any ideas I threw at her!
Finally on the way home, we stopped to capture a few in the last moments of the late afternoon sun. What I loved the most about photographing Jessica was getting her to flash that gorgeous smile - it's like a sunbeam coming out of her face! Jessica, best wishes to you for a fantastic senior year, and for all the adventures that lay before you.
